Hi, I’m Matt. I’m a pretty normal guy — early 30′s, a little on the shy side, and a husband and a dad who likes running, cooking, gambling, and brewing beer.
Back in 2009 I started a blog called No Meat Athlete, and within two years it became my full-time job. Don’t get me wrong; it’s work. But it’s work on my terms, and it’s work that I love.
Nothing inspires me more than the idea that all it takes to start something great today — a business, a nonprofit, a movement — is an idea and the determination to share it. No capital required, beyond access to a computer. No risk, other than your time. And no one to tell you what you can and can’t do; no gatekeeper who gets to decide if your ideas are worthy of attention or not.
I think about this stuff a lot, and I started this blog as way to share my ideas about what it takes to build something meaningful that supports you, lets you live the life you want to live, and helps people on a large scale. Without the sleaziness you find in a lot of the “make money online” sites.
